  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Muslim-Muslim Ticket: Tinubu’s Wife Is A Pastor, Orji Kalu Tells Christians

The Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has urged Christians in Nigeria not to worry about the faith of the running mate of Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, because his wife, Remi, is a pastor.

Kalu, who is seeking to return to the Senate was reacting to the objections of the Christian Association of Nigeria to political parties presenting a Muslim-Muslim ticket as being speculated.

According to Daily Trust, Kalu addressed journalists at the National Assembly on Wednesday.

He said, “Let me tell you, in my house, my wife is the head of the house in reality. Even you men that are here, now that your wives aren’t here, they are the head. Like if I wear this clothe, my wife will tell me ‘My dear, this clothe is not good, remove it’. Your wife will tell you you are supposed to eat Akara and Akamu, whether you argue with her, you must take that Akamu. Your wife want you to pay children school fees, whether you argue or not, you must pay.

“The Christians should relax because Tinubu’s wife is a pastor and once she’s a pastor we are protected because she’s not a housewife. She has political knowledge.”

Remi Tinubu was ordained an Assistant Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 2018.
