  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. India Reiterates Commitment To Partnering Nigeria For Better Life



The High Commission of India in Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to strengthening business and economic relations with Nigeria. 

The High Commissioner of India, Gangadrine Balasubramanian, who made tha promise at the independence celebration of India in Abuja , said, the India /Nigeria relationship started many years back with the establishment of its office in Lagos.

This relationship according to the India High Commissioner, has remained strong, and developed into multifaceted ways almost in all places including human capitial development hence they as a country, are happy with the assistance and cooperation of successive governments in Nigeria.

He said trade and economic relations between the two countries has remained strong with about 35 Indian companies in the country and they are not moving away from the traditional areas of cooperation but diversifying into new areas including information technology, artificial intelligence with scientific development, solar energy among others. 

Balasubramanian, who had earlier read the Indian President's message to the nation, stressed that his country will continue to cooperate with Nigeria in finding solutions to the insecurity in the country as the business between them has since after COVID-19 lock down, increased on both sides with India importing about ten billion dollars worth of oil from Nigeria. 

The Independence celebration saw India children and their parents thrilling the audience with their various musical and dance displays.
