  TikToker undergoes traditional cleansing after filming Oloolu masquerade procession A yet-to-be-identifed female TikTok user narrowly escaped death after allegedly recording a procession linked to the annual Oloolu Masquerade Festival in Ibadan, Oyo State. The incident, which has gone viral on social media, sparked widespread debate after videos showed the woman undergoing traditional cleansing rites at the Oloolu compound. Speaking with newsmen on Monday, Chief Adeola Oloko, the spokesperson of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, said the woman did not record the sacred Oloolu masquerade itself but filmed Alawo Oloolu, a figure associated with the Oloolu tradition. He said the traditional custodians confirmed that the woman captured the procession while it was moving through the Ibadan axis. “She did not capture Oloolu; she mistook it for Alawo.  Residents Move To Recall Hon Ebele Ejiofor

Registered voters in Anaocha I State Constituency have moved to recall the house member representing them in Anambra State House Of Assembly, Hon. Leonard Ebele Ejiofor.

In a letter addressed to the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and signed by different individuals from the Constituency explained that the reason for his recall is because of poor representation, non performance , abuse of legislative privileges, non-involvement and consultation with the constituents before voting in some constitutional issues 

The letter/petition addressed to Independent National Electoral Commission has the signatures of about 964 registered voters within the constituency.
