A FLORIDA SEA TOW CAPTAIN SAVED A MAN FROM A BURNING SHIP ONLY TO BE SHOVED OVERBOARD AND HAVE HIS BOAT STOLEN.(PHOTO)

 No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

Anambra State Government Commences Intervention On Nkpor -Umuoji Road.



Hope has smiled on commuters plying Nkpor-Umuoji road as Anambra state government commences intervention on the Inland Doors axis of Nkpor-Umuoji road.

The intervention work is being handled by the Anambra State Road Maintenance Agency, ARMA, under the state ministry of Works.

At the site, several trips of stone base have been tipped and leveled while desilting of drainage channels was on going as at the time of this report.

More trips of stone base were also seen arriving the site.

In an interview, the officer in charge of ARMA , Engineer Azuka Egwuatu said Governor Soludo felt so bad when he got report of what people pass through on the road and directed that the road should be made passable with immediate effect, which was why they mobilized to site even on Sunday.

Engineer Egbuatu said that the road is twelve meter width , but they are targeting eight meters on all the failed portions for now so that it can be motorable before they compete the whole width. 

He appealed to road users to exercise patience since the road will be fixed in no distant time .

Some road users Messrs Emmanuel Nwankwo, Michael Chielo who regretted the hardship they endure on the road, prayed for abundant blessings upon the Governor and urged him not to relent as they are solidly behind him.
