 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. This is for Unizik Students, school will resume on 17th October, 2022.

"This is to inform staff and students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka that following the suspension of the strike actions by all the University Staff Unions ,the University Management has directed  that Academic activities in the university  resume immediately  in order to complete the 2021/2022 Academic  session. 

Consequent upon this,students are to resume Academic Activities with effect from Monday,17th October 2022".
