 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu signs female inheritance bill into law 

A female inheritance bill which would see Abia women inherit and own properties in their father’s family, has been signed into law by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Ikpeazu who congratulated women over the bill which now has a law citation of ‘The Female Persons Right of Inheritance of Property Law 2022’, said his administration would continue to support women.

Also appreciating the state assembly for the courage to pass the bill, the Governor promised that his administration would lean on the side of reason and common sense in the discharge of its obligations to residents of the state. 

Ikpeazu who also described the bill as historic, added that women would no longer be treated as second-class citizens even in their families.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
