 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. KING CHARLES LED THE NATION FOR THE ANNUAL REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY. (PHOTOS).

The King today led the nation for the annual #RemembranceSunday commemorations at the National Service at the Cenotaph. In a tradition started by King George V in 1920, who unveiled the Cenotaph, His Majesty laid a wreath at the Cenotaph.

Wreaths were also laid The Prince of Wales, The Earl of Wessex and The Princess Royal. A wreath was laid on behalf of The Queen Consort, who joined The Princess of Wales, The Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Sir Tim Laurence to watch the service from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office balcony.

A tradition of every Remembrance Sunday is the Royal British Legion March Past of 10,000 Veterans - this year The Earl of Wessex took the salute.
