 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Federal Lawmaker Obidigwe Offers Primary To University Level Scholarship To New Born Twins In Anambra West



The member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe has offered scholarships to newly born twins, Chisom and Chinecherem from Umudora Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area. 

Hon. Obidigwe during the visit to the twins said that the scholarship will run from primary school to the University level, and donated three hundred thousand naira to the twins, even as he added that the twins and their parent will come for two weeks hospitality visit to Abuja.

The father of the children, Mr. Monday Azuka Anidebe, on behalf of his family appreciated the Lawmaker for his magnanimity towards his family and the people of the federal constituency in general and prayed God to bless him.

Mr. Anidebe maintained that Hon. Obidigwe has done tremendously well in office and urged Ndi Anambra East and West Federal Constituency to re-elect the Lawmaker in the forthcoming general elections for continuous development of the area.

The member representing Anambra West Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Patrick Obalum-Udoba, the Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra West Local Government Area, Mr. Felix Ikechi, among numerous others were also present during the visit.
