 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is a multi-state infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and economic activities across northern and southern Nigeria. More...

MR PRESIDENT'S VISIT TO LAGOS STATE : CC USMAN ALFADARAI ORDERS MASSIVE DEPLOYMENT OF ARMED AND UNARMED PERSONNEL.


He joins the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo - Olu, Senior government functionaries, dignitaries and other Service Commanders in the state to receive Mr President. 

The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Commandant of Corps ( CC ) Usman Ishaq Alfadarai fdc, mpa, mnim, upon assuming office, after a ceremonious handing over and taking over on Monday, 23rd January 2023, immediately, ordered the massive deployment of both armed and unarmed personnel and undercovers in the Command to the Airport and other very important places where the President was scheduled to visit and commission laudable projects in the state. 

The clear operational order given by CC Usman Alfadarai, fdc, was focussed on ensuring safety and security of lives and property before, during and after the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari, Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria ( GCFR ) and Commander - In - Chief of the Armed forces, in line with fulfilling the entire mandates of the Corps. 

The President was well received at the MM2 Presidential Wing by the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo - Olu, Senior government functionaries, dignitaries, Service Commanders and with a ceremonious Guard of Honour  comprising officers and men of the entire Armed Forces for his inspection, before he took off a few minutes after in the early afternoon of Monday, to proceed on the main business of his visit to the state. 

CC Alfadarai fdc, who undertook his very first operational assignment successfully, with all sense of professionalism and seriousness ensured the smooth and massive deployment of personnel to all the places Mr President was scheduled to commission projects in the state, which include ; Imota Rice Mill, Lekki Deep Seaport, MRS lubricant Depot in Apapa Dockyard, Tincan Island. 

Furthermore, CC Alfadarai fdc ensured that the NSCDC personnel were also deployed to the Banquet hall in Eko Hotel, where President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR was greatly, honoured by the Excellent Governor and the Lagos State Government.

Finally, the Deputy Commandant of Corps ( DCC ) Jimoh Sulaiman, who had been co-ordinating the entire  operational directive of the brand new State Commandant, for the President's visit, ensured a perfect and impressive operation, on Tuesday, 24th January, 2023, where the President also inaugurated the historic first Phase of the Blue Line of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit in Marina and the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History at Onikan roundabout, before his departure out of the State. 

The massive number of personnel deployed, for the above Presidential visit, was drawn from the State Command Headquarters ; Operation Department, Armed Squad, CTU, Anti - Vandal, CNAI, SFS, Agro Rangers, QIS, CBRNE, PCM, Intelligence and Investigation, PRU, Protocol, Divisions, Beats and Points, just to mention a few.

Therefore, CC Alfadarai fdc expressed his joy over the professional conduct of his personnel and charged them to continue to make the Federal Government, the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola and the Commandant General ( CG ) Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD, mni, OFR  happy, with such level of professionalism , respect for human rights and regard for humility and integrity in service delivery, especially, with the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
