 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. DG NITDA EXTOLS NACEST…pledges support

The Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Mr Kashifu Inuwa, a Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) has pledged to support Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST).
           
Mr Inuwa made the pledged when the Rector NACEST Major General Umar Babangida paid him a courtesy visit in his office at Abuja on 6th April 23.

Stating the purpose of the visit, Major General Babangida asserted that the visit is to thank the agency on their last interventions in the area of Establishing a Standard Information Technology Center, and the provision of Desks, chairs, and Solar Energy for the College. 
         
He further solicited continued support to cement the existing cordial relationship between NITDA and NACEST to see various collaborations, especially in the areas of Research and Development.
