 Malian army withdraws from key Tessalit military camp: sources Mali’s army and its Russian mercenary allies have surrendered Camp Tessalit, a strategic military post in the north, multiple sources told the AFP news agency on Friday. An official from the Tuareg-led separatist group claimed soldiers and mercenaries at the camp had "surrendered", following a fierce fight over the weekend. Simultaneous attacks in Mali by militants linked to Al Qaeda and separatist Tuareg rebels on April 25 showed how fighters ​from different groups with different goals were able to strike at the heart of the West African country's military government. Gunfire and explosions were reported in the capital Bamako and around a large military base outside the capital, as well as Gao and central areas, as gunfire continuing in the northern city of Kidal. Dubai Police receives Singapore General Consul
 
His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, has recently welcomed H.E Syed Muhammad Raziff Aljunie, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Dubai, with the aim to enhance cooperation between both sides.
 
During the meeting, which was held at the Dubai Police Officers Club, Al Marri discussed with the Singapore's General Consul a number of topics of mutual interest including ways to strengthen cooperation between the two sides in various areas.
 
Al Marri welcomed the Singapore General Consul and the accompanying delegation, reaffirming the Dubai Police's keenness to enhance communication with various agencies, including diplomatic agencies.
 
The Singapore General Consul praised the level of safety and security in Dubai in particular and the United Arab Emirates in general. He thanked the Dubai Police for its permanent endeavors to enhance cooperation and joint coordination in various fields.
 
The delegation was briefed on the Ghiath Smart Patrol, one of the world's most advanced security vehicles equipped with 360-degree deployable cameras, smart devices, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the latest technological systems. They also learned about the advanced services that enhance police work in the security and traffic aspects.
 
The meeting witnessed the presence of H.E Major General Ahmed Muhammad Rafi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs; H.E Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs; H.E Major General Jamal Al Jallaf, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation; H.E Major General Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director of the General Department of Forensics and Criminology, and a number of senior officers and officials.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
