  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. GOV. MATAWALLE REINSTATES EMIR SUSPECTED FOR TURBANING NOTORIOUS BANDIT. (PHOTO).

Gov. Bello Matawalle of Zamfara  has approved  the reinstatement of Emir of Yandoto,  Alhaji Aliyu  Maraca to the throne of Emir of Birnin Yandoto.


This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe on Sunday in Gusau.


“The reinstatement is based on the recommendations of the Committee constituted to investigate all issues pertaining to the conferment of a traditional title to a repentant bandit, Ado Aleiru.


“The committee found no evidence of any ill motive or collaboration between the Emir and the bandit.


“Based on the findings of the committee, the traditional title was conferred on the repentant bandit as part of peace building efforts between the repentant bandit and banditry affected communities in Tsafe and Gusau Local Government Areas, which include Yandoto town,“he Balarabe said.


He said the reinstatement is with immediate effect.


The Zamfara government suspended the Emir of Yandoto on July 18, 2022 for the confirmation of a traditional title” Sarkin Fulanin Yandoto ” to  Ado Aleru, an alleged  notorious bandit.


The conferment generated public outcry that led to the postponement of the ceremony and since then the state government constituted committee to investigate the matter.
