  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Second KDSG Security Update: Monday 3rd April 2023 


KDSG bans social activities linked to violence in Nasarawa, Sabon Garin Nasarawa communities of Chikun LGA 


-Three suspects arrested in relation to killing of two citizens


The Kaduna State Government has banned social activities linked with the violence of Sunday night and Monday which left two citizens dead and six others injured in Sabon Garin-Tirkaniya area of Chikun LGA. 


The decision was taken after a thorough appraisal of the security situation by the military, police and Department of State Services, as well as an emergency meeting with traditional and religious leaders of the area at the 312 Artillery Regiment Kaduna. 


The social activities observed in the community, which are now prohibited with immediate effect are listed as follows: 


-Kidan Bishi 

-Kidan Gala

-Hunting expeditions 


The government has also directed the arrest of anyone linked with the peddling of hard drugs in Nasarawa and Sabon Garin Nasarawa. 


Furthermore, three suspects have been arrested in connection with the violence. In addition to the killing of two citizens, six persons were injured and are presently receiving medical attention. Several vehicles and properties were also destroyed. 


Governor Nasir El-Rufai has commended the prompt action of the military and police in preventing the violence from escalating beyond the area. 


The Governor also allayed the fears of the families that lost their loved ones, affirming that the matter would be investigated conclusively.
