 Trump announces Hamas disarmament and Israeli troop withdrawal agreement under Gaza ceasefire plan   President Donald Trump announced Thursday that Hamas has agreed to a plan to disarm and that Israel will withdraw its forces from Gaza as part of a U.S.-backed ceasefire framework. Trump described the agreement as a major step toward creating a new Palestinian government in Gaza that would work with the newly established Board of Peace to oversee the next stages of the plan. The president said the agreement would also provide Israel with increased security by preventing Gaza from being used as a launching point for future attacks. Details of the agreement were limited, and neither Israel nor Hamas immediately released statements responding to Trump’s announcement. The Board of Peace said Hamas had agreed to a roadmap for moving forward with the next phases of the ceasefire after months of negotiations. Court Convicts One for Internet Fraud in Kaduna

The Kaduna Zonal Command has secured the conviction of one Triumph Abdul Yakubu before Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna state High Court on a one count charge bordering on internet fraud. 

The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge. In view of his plea, the prosecution counsel, E.K Garba urged the court to convict him accordingly.

Justice Khobo convicted and sentenced the defendant to two years imprisonment with an option of fine of N 150,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira).

He is also to forfeit the sum of $400USD and his Apple iPhone Pro Max with Model No. GONPFD45D3Y which was used in committing the offence to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

His journey to jail commenced when he was arrested at Rosalux Hotel based on intelligence on his alleged criminal pursuits.
