 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Eniola Badmus to chair Entertainment Committee of Tinubu’s inauguration


Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has been appointed the chairman of the Entertainment Committee for President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inauguration.

Ahead of May 29, 2023, preparations are already in top gear for the president-elect’s swearing-in.

A trending list on the internet showed that the actress would be chairing the Entertainment Committee for Tinubu’s inauguration.

Members of the group include Saheed Balogun, Toyin Abraham, Seyi Law, Lawal Olalekan, aka Konga, and singer Chuddy K, among others from the entertainment industry.

Eniola Badmus, who is a strong supporter of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2023 election, had in February begun the distribution of the Aso ebi selected for the celebration and swearing-in ceremony.
