 No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

Two Policemen Killed As Gunmen Attack Another Checkpoint In Imo

Unidentified gunmen have again attacked a police checkpoint located at Okpala Junction along Owerri/Aba Road, Ngor Okpala council area of Imo State one month after they killed five policemen and husband and wife at the same junction.

The incident, which happened early hours of today, Saturday 20th May 2023, left two policemen dead and many others injured, our correspondent gathered.

An eyewitness who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the gunmen came in numbers and opened fire on the police officers who were on road-block morning stop-and-search duty.

A traveler who passed through the road confirmed to our correspondent that two police officers were killed while he saw one who was injured.

He said; “I saw the liveless body while coming to work this morning. Two killed and one injured inside police van”.

As of the time of filing this report, teams of policemen were drafted to the area

Efforts to speak with the police spokesperson in Imo State command, Henry Okoye, to confirm the incident proofed abortive as of the time of filing this report.

Also, text messages sent to his known phone number were not responded to.
