 President Tinubu to Present 2026 Budget on Friday, December 19 President Bola Tinubu is set to present the 2026 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly on Friday, December 19, 2025. Ahead of the presentation, a formal communication from the Presidency will be read on the floor of the House of Representatives on Thursday, December 18, notifying lawmakers and staff of the President’s appearance. The notification follows a letter dated December 17, 2025, signed by Adm. Essien Eyo Essien, Secretary of Human Resources and Staff Development, on behalf of the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana. The letter was also copied to the Deputy Clerk and heads of departments. According to the letter, President Tinubu, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, will deliver the proposed 2026 budget at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Pop Queen Madonna rushed to hospital, intubated in ICU after being found unresponsive

Pop Queen, Madonna, 64,  has been forced to postpone her tour after she was found unresponsive and rushed to a New York City hospital last Saturday, June 24.

According to her manager, the global popstar developed a serious bacterial infection, which led to "a several day stay in ICU".

In a statement, Guy Oseary said Madonna's health is improving, but she is still under medical care.

Sharing the news, he wrote in a statement this evening: "On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several-day stay in the ICU.

He added: "Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour."

He concluded the statement by writing: "We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows."

Her upcoming Celebration tour - which was announced earlier this year - had been due to launch next month. 

The tour is expected to celebrate her decades-long career in the music industry, which has included numerous chart-topping singles such as Like a Prayer, Vogue, and Into the Groove.
