 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). Comptroller General of Immigration Visits Innoson Factory

The Acting Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Services, Adepoju Carol Wura-Ola, on Tuesday, 11th of July, 2023 visited Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Plant, Nnewi, Anambra State.

At the IVM factory, She expressed satisfaction over the level of work going on at the factory and the huge number of employees, stating that Anambra State as an industrial hub remains of utmost importance.

"I'm taking a work tour of all the formations under me and Anambra is very important to me, being a hub of industry in Nigeria".

The Immigration Boss added that such local manufacturing depicts great possibilities for Nigerian youths.

"This great vehicle manufacturing plant is very impressive and should encourage Nigerian youths that the future of this country is very bright, especially in this dispensation".

" This is very nice, you can see the number of people working here and from the look of things, you can see fulfillment and satisfaction. We take pride in seeing that all these kinds of things are being manufactured in this country".

The CEO of Innoson Vehicles, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, CON, appreciated the immigration team for the trip and reminded all that Innoson Vehicles is for Nigerians.

"Everyone in this country knows that this plant is not for Innoson but for Nigeria, so let's support this plant to help to move the economy".

Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing continues to blaze the trail as a quality car manufacturer in Nigeria, producing great vehicles for African Roads.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
