 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. Comptroller General of Immigration Visits Innoson Factory

The Acting Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Services, Adepoju Carol Wura-Ola, on Tuesday, 11th of July, 2023 visited Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Plant, Nnewi, Anambra State.

At the IVM factory, She expressed satisfaction over the level of work going on at the factory and the huge number of employees, stating that Anambra State as an industrial hub remains of utmost importance.

"I'm taking a work tour of all the formations under me and Anambra is very important to me, being a hub of industry in Nigeria".

The Immigration Boss added that such local manufacturing depicts great possibilities for Nigerian youths.

"This great vehicle manufacturing plant is very impressive and should encourage Nigerian youths that the future of this country is very bright, especially in this dispensation".

" This is very nice, you can see the number of people working here and from the look of things, you can see fulfillment and satisfaction. We take pride in seeing that all these kinds of things are being manufactured in this country".

The CEO of Innoson Vehicles, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, CON, appreciated the immigration team for the trip and reminded all that Innoson Vehicles is for Nigerians.

"Everyone in this country knows that this plant is not for Innoson but for Nigeria, so let's support this plant to help to move the economy".

Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing continues to blaze the trail as a quality car manufacturer in Nigeria, producing great vehicles for African Roads.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
