 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. Family declare 28-year-old Obianuju Emmanuella Anyaibe missing

A 28-year-old realtor, Obianuju Emmanuella Anyaibe, has been declared missing.

A family source who wrote to LIB, said Ms Anyaibe left the house in a hurry, stating that she wanted to go meet a client. However, that was the last time anyone saw or heard from her. Her phone has since been unreachable.

‘’My sister has been missing for over 24hours now. She returned yesterday morning from work, dropped her bag and hopped back into the bike that brought her home, saying she had to rush down to meet with a client.  That was the last we heard from her. Her phone was formerly ringing but right now has been switched off. Please help me post this.'' the source said
