 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Mrs Soludo Visits Nigeria's First Lady, Remi Tinubu In Abuja.



Anambra Governor's wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo has paid a courtesy visit to the wife of Nigeria President, Senator Remi Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The visit, according to the governor's wife, was to physically congratulate the president's wife on their recent election victory and successful swearing in, and to also interact with her on issues of mutual interests.

Mrs Soludo also used the opportunity to brief the president's wife on the activities of her non-governmental organization, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, which was recently set up in Anambra State.

Receiving the governor's wife, the president's wife who described Mrs Soludo as a sister, assured her that her husband's administration is committed to good governance and giving Nigerians the best value for voting for him.

She equally pledged to carry every member of the Nigerian Governors' Wives Forum along despite political differences, and rebuild the working vision of the forum. 

Senator Tinubu also congratulated the Anambra first lady on setting up her NGO, and urged her to ensure that apart from children, women are also well incorporated into the activities of the initiative.
