 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. PRESIDENT OF GUINEA-BISSAU, UMARO SISSOCO EMBALÓ VISITS TINUBU 


President of Guinea-Bissau and Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, Umaro Sissoco Embaló has visited Lagos, where he met with President Bola Tinubu.

It was gathered that President Tinubu, who recently returned from official trips to Paris and London, arrived at his Lagos residence on Tuesday.

During his return, he reiterated his dedication to fostering collaboration between the National Assembly leadership and the President.
