 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. AMOTEKUN ARRESTED NINE SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS IN ONDO STATE. (VIDEO/PHOTO).

 Amotekun, the security outfit established by the six southwest states, has arrested nine suspected kidnappers in Ondo State. The suspects were apprehended in Owo and Akoko areas of the state following intelligence reports and surveillance carried out by Amotekun operatives.


According to the Commander of the Ondo State Amotekun Corps, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, the suspects were responsible for a series of kidnappings and robberies in the state. He added that they were found in possession of dangerous weapons, including guns and cutlasses.


Adeleye also noted that the arrested suspects will be handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.


The Amotekun security outfit was established in response to rising insecurity in the southwest region, and it has been credited with several successful operations against criminal elements in the region.
