 Corey Feldman hospitalized after mid-flight medical emergency at LAX  Actor Corey Feldman was hospitalized after experiencing a medical emergency during a flight and being taken directly from Los Angeles International Airport to a hospital, according to his publicist. The 54-year-old actor reportedly became ill while traveling from Chicago to Los Angeles on Monday. A doctor on board evaluated him during the flight before he was met upon arrival and transported for further treatment. He remained in the hospital overnight for observation. Early speculation suggested the issue could be related to gallstones, but his publicist said that possibility was ruled out by medical staff. Feldman was still undergoing evaluation and awaiting MRI results as of Tuesday morning. Anti-graft War: Emir of Zazzau Commends EFCC

The Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Ahmad Nuhu Bamali, has commended the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for demonstrating resilience in the fight against economic and financial crimes in the country despite the challenges.
He gave the commendation on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 when he received a team from the Kaduna Zonal Command of the EFCC led by the Commander, ACE.1 Aisha Abubakar, on a familiarization visit to the emirate council.
He expressed delight that the visit has afforded him and members of the council greater insight into the activities of the EFCC and assured of support to the Commission.
 “We are open to further collaboration with your Commission so that we all can always find a common ground to assist our nation in our various capacities to ensure that we collectively fight the menace which is detrimental to our image as nation”, he said.
 He promised to ensure that any case of fraudulent activity that may arise in his domain will be brought to the Commission for investigation.
In her remarks, ACE1 Aisha Abubakar said the reason for the visit was to further seek the support of the emirate council in ensuring that the anti-corruption message is relayed down to the grassroots.
 She said a corrupt free society will foster peace, unity, and security for all citizens.
