Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

El-rufai Ministerial Nomination received negative reactions as Kogi senator submits petition against the former governor over insecurity in Kaduna 

Sunday Karimi, senator representing Kogi west, on Tuesday, presented a petition at the senate against Nasir el-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna state.

Karimi submitted the petition against el-Rufai during the special plenary while the former governor was being screened by the upper legislative chamber.

The lawmaker said the petition bothers on security, unity and cohesiveness of the country.

“Your performance in any office you find your office in the country has been outstanding. In the bureau of public enterprise (BPE), your record is there, in FCT as a minister, your record is there, and as two-time governor of Kaduna state, you did well,” the senator said.

But, I have a very strong petition against you that bothers on security, unity and cohesiveness of the Nigerian nation.

“And I think that the petition has to be considered along in this screening exercise.”

Karimi then proceeded to lay the petition before Barau Jibrin, deputy senate president, who presided over the screening exercise.
