 ENUGU STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE YULETIDE SECURITY: ENUGU POLICE OPERATIVES BUST ARMED ROBBERY AND ONE-CHANCE SYNDICATE, ARREST FIVE SUSPECTS, RECOVER IMITATION GUN, STOLEN TRICYCLES AND OTHER EXHIBITS Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command attached to the Anti-Cultism Tactical Squad have arrested five armed robbery and one-chance criminal suspects in a series of coordinated operations and investigations conducted between 22nd November and 1st December 2025. The suspects are Ikechukwu Patrick (male, 19), Odoh David (male, 21), Izuchukwu Ogbodo (male, 37), Charles Ekenechukwu Egwuatu (male, 39), and Justina Dike (female, 37). Exhibits recovered from them include an imitation gun, four stolen tricycles, a scissors blade, multiple master keys, and several SIM cards. Patrick and Odoh were first arrested on 22nd November 2025 with the assistance of the Neighbourhood Watch Group. An imitation gun and a scissors blade were recovered from them. Osimhen rejects N50bn Al-Hilal deal


Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has rejected the €60m (N50 billion) per season salary offer from Saudi club Al-Hilal.


According to reports in France and England, Napoli rejected an offer worth €140m from Al-Hilal for Osimhen while the player snubbed the weekly pay package of €1m.


L’Equipe and Sky Sports UK both claim that the extraordinary proposal was put forward by the club in Saudi Arabia on Monday.


While others have already gone to the Saudi Pro League at the peak of their careers, including Karim Benzema, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Marcelo Brozovic, Osimhen has no intention of making that move yet.


It doesn’t hurt that Napoli are discussing a new contract extension for the Nigerian striker, but also worth noting that €140m would’ve been rejected regardless, even if it had come in from a top European side.


Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has set the price tag at over €150m.


He is discussing a deal that would be worth €7m per season plus bonuses at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona and the Partenopei hope Osimhen will extend his contract after scoring 26 goals in Serie A last season.


Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with Osimhen throughout the summer but he has proved too expensive for both teams.


Ligue 1 champions PSG retain an interest but it is unlikely they will be able to match the offer on the table from Al Hilal.
