 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢, 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐞, 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟔𝟐 𝐅𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has revoked the lands allocated to several prominent Nigerians, including former President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, due to non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy fees. Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy. How 11-Year-Old Girl Was R@ped, Impregnated In Imo
 
An 11-year-old girl, Chizitere Onyebuenyi on Saturday, October, 27, 2023, told The Statesman roving reporter how she was allegedly raped and impregnated by a middle-aged man.

The teenager, a native of Umunama Umuekwune community, in Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area, while narrating her ordeal, said the man took advantage of her twice.

The child explained, that the middle-aged man, whose name she could not remember, at the press time, sent her on an errand and directed her to take the item into his room, where he raped her.

She said, “He sent me to buy indommie noddle for him and when I returned, he told me to take it inside his room and he slept with me for the first time".

She further said, they are residing at the Number 5 Nekede old road and that the man responsible for her pregnancy has been poisoned by unknown persons.

At the time of filing this report, the victim was shy narrate more of her experiences during the incident.

This writer gathered, that mother of the teenager, who hawks fried groundnuts and her father, are aware of the present condition of their child.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
