CJN Bans Lawyers, Court Officials to Stop Using ‘Barrister’ as Official Title The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, has directed lawyers, court officials and other legal personnel to discontinue the use of “Barrister” as a prefix to their names in all official engagements at the Supreme Court. The directive was contained in a memorandum dated July 13, 2026, and signed by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Kabir Akanbi. The circular, which was addressed to litigation staff, legal practitioners, court registrars and lawyers, stated that the directive took immediate effect and was aimed at upholding professional standards within the apex court.  You’re a w!cked person – Davido blasts Samklef for leaking video of his newborn twins


Famous afrobeat musician, Davido, has blasted singer Samklef for allegedly leaking the video of his wife and their newborn twins on the internet.


However, reacting to the trend, Davido, who hasn’t announced the birth, took to his Instagram page to berate Samklef, for allegedly leaking the clip.


He wrote: “Delete pls, ur a wicked person. U know u’re not meant to post this. Wtf. F*cking clout chaser.”


Responding to the accusation a few minutes later, Samklef clarified that he saw the video on X platform.


“Me and @Davido are kool. Davido initially believed I was the one who leaked the video after our DM conversation. However, I clarified that I obtained the video from the public domain on Twitter. Wishing blessings upon your home and family.”
