 BENUE BOOSTS CHILD PROTECTION WITH GRADUATION OF 60 UNICEF-BACKED SOCIAL WORKERS  Benue State has taken a major step toward strengthening child protection and social welfare services with the graduation of 60 Auxiliary Social Workers (ASWs) trained to serve vulnerable children and families at the grassroots. The graduation ceremony, held on Wednesday, marked the successful completion of a programme jointly supported by the Benue State Government, the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and the Benue State Bureau for International Cooperation and Development (BICD). Speaking at the event themed “Building Community Resilience Through Professional Auxiliary Social Work,” the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Hon. BANDITS SUFFER HEAVY CASUALTY IN BIRNIN GWARI…As Troops Lunch Deadly Offensive



Bandits and terrorists operating in the forest of Birnin Gwari today 16 November 2023 suffer heavy casualty in the hands of troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army and operation Whirl Punch.  Acting on credible intelligence, the highly motivated troops carried out an offensive clearance operation to bandits strongholds in Sabon-Birni, Dogon Dawa, Saulawa, Maidaro-Ngede Allah and Kidenda all in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State and made contact with bandits.


In the fire fight that ensued when contact was made, troops  neutralized 6 bandits, recovered two AK 47 rifle, four AK 47 rifle magazine, 14 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, 40 pairs of bandits uniforms and 9 Motorcycles.


The General Officer Commanding 1 Division Nigerian Army and Force Commander operation WHIRL PUNCH, Major General Valentine Okoro has applauded the troops for their gallantry and charged them not to relent until all terrorists, bandits and other  criminal elements in the Division's Area of Responsibility are completely neutralized.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
