 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. My Family Is Now Homeless — Igbo Man Whose ‘N300m’ House Was Demolished In Lagos Speaks

Chimobi Ezenwa, an Igbo man whose mansion said to be worth N300 million was demolished in Lagos, says he is now homeless.

The Lagos State Government recently commenced the destruction of houses said to be in contravention of Lagos masterplan and quite interestingly, majority of these houses only belong to Igbo people.

Residents in the Abule Ado area of the state were filmed hurriedly removing their belongings after being given a 2 hours grace before demolition commences.

In a video trending on social media, one of those affected by the demolition said his house was pulled down without prior notice.

He said: “My name is Chimobi Ezenwa and I am one of the victims of the ongoing demolition here in Abule Ado, Lagos.

“This is my property, it has been demolished and there was no notice before encroaching on my property and destroying it. Even if I didn’t have an FHA (Federal Housing Authorities) allocation, if they asked me to pay for reclaiming of the land, I was ready to pay.”.
