 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. NSCDC EXPRESSES ZERO TOLERANCE FOR VANDALISATION IN ZAMFARA STATE

 


The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, has expressed zero tolerance for vandalisation of any sort in Zamfara State.

The State Commandant of the Corps, Commandant Sani Mustapha made this known when he addressing the Association of Scraped Products Buyers in Zamfara State. 

Sani Mustapha reiterated the resolve of the Corps in the State to deal ruthlessly with any one found vandalizing government and public utilities using the extant laws of the Federation.

He advised the Association to collaborate with the Corps in order to fish out bad eggs and perpetrators of such crimes in their business acrose the State. 

The Commandant also charged the leadership of the Association to desist from buying any goods suspected to have been vandalized or having questionable identity.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Association, Alhaji. Aminu Abbah who led the group, said the Association is ready to redeem the image of the State, as a result, he pledged to collaborate with the Corps to put an end to vandalisation of Government and private properties in the State.

He however extolled the doggedness of the Corps in the fight against insecurity and vandalisation in the state, and promised to support the Corps in the state to root out vandalism.
