  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. JAMB begins sales of 2024 UTME forms January 15

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the dates for activities that will culminate in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

JAMB spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, in a statement, yesterday, indicated that barring any unforeseen circumstances that might warrant change in plans, January 15 to February 26, has been fixed for the sale of UTME application document.

Similarly, March 7, 2024, has been slated for the 2024 mock-UTME, while the main UTME will hold between April 19 and 29. Candidates are expected to print their examination slips as from April 10.

He enjoined candidates interested in the 2024 UTME to take note of the dates and other advisories that might be issued by the board in relation to the administration of the examination, and they could also visit the board’s website @www.jamb gov.ng for other relevant information regarding the 2024 UTME exercise.
