 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. POWA ORGANIZES ANNUAL CONFERENCE WEEK 


As President Rolls Out Empowerment Scheme; Event to Span 6th to 8th December 2023

The Police Officers' Wives Association (POWA) is eagerly anticipating its annual conference week, slated to take place from the 6th to the 8th of December, 2023. This significant gathering is poised to unveil a transformative empowerment scheme spearheaded by the POWA President, Mrs. Queen Elizabeth Egbetokun.

This conference, spanning three days, is strategically designed to offer members a platform for engagement, collaboration, and empowerment. Mrs. Egbetokun's unveiling of the empowerment scheme is expected to be a pivotal moment, marking a commitment to positive change within the community of police officers' families. Beyond its ceremonial significance, the conference will address crucial issues affecting police officers' families, underscoring POWA's dedication to community building and the overall welfare of its members.

The Annual Conference Week will feature an opening ceremony at the POWA National Secretariat, Mambilla Barracks Asokoro; Empowerment and Sports at the POWA International School Area 11, Garki, Abuja; and a Dinner and Awards event at the Space and Function Event Centre, City Park, Wuse 2, Abuja. The empowerment scheme is a multifaceted initiative aimed at uplifting and supporting POWA members. Activities include skill acquisition programs, capacity-building workshops, and economic empowerment initiatives, all geared towards fostering personal and professional development.

The POWA President assures of the commitment of her administration to community service, reiterating that the conference week serves as a focal point for strengthening community ties and fostering unity among members.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
