Two arrested for alleged manufacturing of fake drinks in Lagos

Police operatives attached to Ojo Division area of Lagos State on Wednesday, December 20, arrested one Imo Lawrence and his ally, Magnus Nwonka, allegedly involved in manufacturing fake drinks in the state.
The Nation learnt that Lawrence aged 35 and Nwonka aged 42 were in possession of fake drinks.
The spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed their arrest on his official X handle.
He explained: “In the course of investigation, the suspects led detectives to their inconspicuous, multi-room ‘factory.’”
Hundeyin disclosed that further investigation was ongoing on the discovery.

The Lagos State Police command has busted an illegal factory producing fake drinks around the Ojo area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclose this in a post on his official X handle on Wednesday.
The PPRO stated that operatives of the Ojo Division were able to arrest two suspects in connection to the criminal act.
The post reads, “Officers of Ojo Division today arrested the duo of Imo Lawrence ‘m’ aged 35 and Magnus Nwonka ‘m’ aged 42 in possession of fake drinks.
“In the course of investigation, the suspects led detectives to their inconspicuous, multi-room ‘factory’.”
Benjamin revealed that investigation is currently ongoing to uncover more details to the dastardly act.
