Lagos police launch investigation as jeweller  accuses its officers of harassment The Lagos State Police Command said it has commenced an investigation into a viral video of a jeweller accusing some policemen in the Festac area of the state of harassing him.  The command disclosed this in an X post on Saturday. The video, which circulated on X on Saturday morning, shows the businessman engaged in a struggle with some policemen. Later in the video, the businessman could be seen with a bloody face after allegedly sustaining a cut beside his right eye during the struggle with the police officers,  The jeweller later explained that the policemen from the Festac Division had stopped him for a routine search. Wizkid To Gift Children N100m For Christmas 


Multi-award-winning music star, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has announced plans to gift N100 million to children for Christmas. 


The singer revealed this in posts on his Instagram story on Monday, stating that this will start from the Surulere area of Lagos State. 


He added that he is doing this in honour of his late mum, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who died on August 18, 2023. 


He wrote, "100M for the kids for Christmas! Lord bless us all  start in Surulere tonight!
