 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). A DOG TORE $4,000, A CASH MEANT TO PAY WORKERS FOR A NEW CONSTRUCTION. (PHOTO)

 Cecil, a pet dog from Pittsburgh, brings a whole new meaning to the term "money hungry."


Clayton Law and his wife Carrie were having a new fence installed and made a special trip to the bank for $4,000.00 in cash to pay the workers. However, about a half hour after returning home, the couple entered the room where they had left the money only to be met with a very confusing sight.


The cash was all over the floor ripped to pieces and sitting innocently in the midst of all this mayhem... was good old Cecil.  Let's just say Cecil did pay most of it back eventually in small deposits all over the yard. 


At one point in the night, the couple's furry little ATM withdrew some funds all over their floor after a tummy ache. 


All Clayton could say as he watched in stunned awe was, "Wow... that's a lot of hundreds".


So far the couple have recovered 3,550.00 dollars in the most unsavory of ways and lots of tape. The couples bank is aware of the situation and Carrie says they have been very nice about it.
