 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. A DOG TORE $4,000, A CASH MEANT TO PAY WORKERS FOR A NEW CONSTRUCTION. (PHOTO)

 Cecil, a pet dog from Pittsburgh, brings a whole new meaning to the term "money hungry."


Clayton Law and his wife Carrie were having a new fence installed and made a special trip to the bank for $4,000.00 in cash to pay the workers. However, about a half hour after returning home, the couple entered the room where they had left the money only to be met with a very confusing sight.


The cash was all over the floor ripped to pieces and sitting innocently in the midst of all this mayhem... was good old Cecil.  Let's just say Cecil did pay most of it back eventually in small deposits all over the yard. 


At one point in the night, the couple's furry little ATM withdrew some funds all over their floor after a tummy ache. 


All Clayton could say as he watched in stunned awe was, "Wow... that's a lot of hundreds".


So far the couple have recovered 3,550.00 dollars in the most unsavory of ways and lots of tape. The couples bank is aware of the situation and Carrie says they have been very nice about it.
