 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  “I love you to the end of the world” – Late Alaafin’s wife, Queen Dami pens appreciation note to Portable.


Queen Dami, the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife, has left people speechless with an appreciation message she wrote to Street Pop sensation Portable.


Queen Dami gently poured her heart out to Portable, whom she referred to as “her king,” as she wished him a happy New Year.


She also thanked the musician for teaching her the value of love and affection.


She expressed her love for Portable, saying she was grateful to God and considered herself fortunate to have him.


She wrote: “My king, Thank you for teaching me the meaning of love and affection and loving me unconditionally every day. I love you with all my heart and soul. I am thankful to God and to my lucky stars for having you as my Man. I love you to the end of the world❤️ see you in 2024 AMEN.”
