  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  FIRST LADY OF THE FEDERATION TO VISIT IMO TOMORROW



-SET TO FLAG OFF THE RENEWED HOPE INITIATIVE SOCIAL INVESTMENT PROGRAMME FOR SOUTHEAST REGION 


In response to the economic challenges, the First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu CON, will tomorrow, 28th February 2024, flag off the Southeast Renewed Hope Initiative.


This initiative is aimed at empowering women in the rural areas through agricultural initiatives social investment programme 


The support program for the South-Eastern Geopolitical zone will be unveiled before the First Lady of Imo State, Barr. Mrs. Chioma Uzodimma and other Governor's Wives across the South-East region. 


The Initiative Women Agricultural Support Programme seeks to address these challenges by providing targeted support to women farmers. 


The program includes provisions for access to land, training in modern agricultural techniques, financial assistance, and market linkages. By empowering women in agriculture, the initiative aims to enhance food security, reduce poverty, and promote gender equality in Imo State and the South-Eastern region.
