 LASG HOSTS Y2024 WOMEN'S ASSEMBLY TO EMPOWER, CELEBRATE WOMEN Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to advancing and empowering women, describing them as the pillars of communities, contributing in numerous ways as mothers, entrepreneurs, educators and leaders.  Governor Sanwo-Olu stated this in his keynote address at the 2024 Women's Assembly for Local Government and Local Council Development Areas organised by the Ministry of Women's Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) at the De Blue Roof, LTV 8 complex, Agindigbi Ikeja.  The Governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Governor, Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, described the Assembly as a critical platform for celebrating women’s contributions and tackling challenges affecting their well-being. POLICE NAB MAN WHO DISGUISES AS GHOST TO DEFRAUD PEOPLE IN ADAMAWA



Adamawa state Police Command  on 5/2/2024 arrested a 59years old Man for frequently defrauding Members of the public.


The suspect, Muhammad Abubakar a.k.a Malam Sabo is said to be an habitual 419 who specializes in defrauding Members of the public in a disguised manner.


Mostly, the suspect hides his identity, pretending to be a Ghost, talking to his Victims with different voices.


The suspect, at times changes his voice sound  to that of a woman or a child to dupe his victims. Recently he tricked and duped one Abba Bale of Demsawo of the sum of three Hundred thousand (N300,000.00)
