 INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES AND OTHER RELATED OFFENCES COMMISSION (ICPC) Tuesday 16th December, 2025 MEDIA RELEASE The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to confirm that it received a formal petition today Tuesday 16th December, 2025 from Alhaji Aliko Dangote through his lawyer.  Regha slams Peter Obi for travelling to Cote d'Ivoire to watch Super Eagles' match


Controversial influencer Daniel Regha has taken to social media to criticize Peter Obi for attending the Super Eagles match in Ivory Coast.

Regha questioned the necessity of Obi’s trip, especially amidst ongoing crises in Nigeria, including in Obi’s home state of Anambra.

Regha argued that politicians like Obi should prioritize addressing national issues rather than attending sporting events.

He suggested that such events should be attended by entertainers and influencers, not politicians responsible for governance.

Expressing his disapproval, Regha commented,

“Peter Obi is currently in Ivory Coast to do what exactly? Travelling all the way to watch the Super Eagles while Nigeria is currently in crisis, including Anambra State.”

Public figures who should be at the stadium are entertainers and influencers, not politicians who should be fixing the nation. This is nothing but a PR move. Misplaced priorities.”
