SAFETY SIGNATURES LTD BOSS, DR CYNTHIA GREGG SHARES HINTS ON HOW TO ELIMINATE EMERGING SECURITY CHALLENGES.

"As a partner in progress and patriotic beloved citizen of Nigeria, we will continue to support security agencies to give us their best in our own little way," Gregg said.

The Chief Executive Officer/ Managing Director of one of the leading licensed private security guard company in the nation, Dr Cynthia Gregg, an enthusiast of good governance, security and safety has once again shared some very crucial hints with the media on how security agencies and the government can eliminate the emerging security threats bedeviling our dear country, Nigeria.

Dr Cynthia Gregg posited that the state of security of the nation is alarming and requires an urgent fix. She called for a new vista and suggested that there was need for us as a people to go back to the drawing board and critically look out for where we missed it in order to be able to solve the problems on ground.

The security is large in such away that everyone has a role to play in it. "The Private Security Practitioners where I am from for example has a duty to share intelligence and information gathered from a credible source with security agencies and relevant organizations in the fight against rising insecurity in the country," Gregg said.

"The Security Agencies in the country from the Military to the Police and the Paramilitary must take the bull by the horn, if we must put an end to this ugly and untoward menace of insecurity in the country," Gregg said. One of the methods should be the deployment of preventive and decisive mechanisms. Quick decisions against crime and criminalities should be allowed them in accordance with the laws of the land to avoid these heinous crimes from having needless spread like we experienced with the Boko Haram Terrorism and Extremism, banditry, cattle rustling and Insurgency in almost all the parts of the North of this country and other regions, who also had their share of rising insecurity peculiar to them including human trafficking, arsoning abduction and kidnapping et ce tera.

"In Lagos State, for instance we have enjoyed relative peace under the current administration as it regards the security of lives and property but then traffic robbery and  kidnapping rose their ugly heads in some nooks and crannies of the state and we can not fold our hands to watch this without finding a collective solution together," Gregg said.

However, to add to other methods and strategies being deployed to stem insecurity in the state and our country I would like to implore the government and our security agents to invest more in a technology driven security approach if we really want to achieve our aim of ensuring a peaceful environment that will aid local and foreign investors to thrive on our soil.

"As a partner in progress and patriotic beloved citizen of Nigeria, we will continue to support security agencies to give us their best in our own little way," Gregg said.

Signed.
