 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  UCL: Osimhen in contention to face Barcelona – Napoli boss, Calzona


Napoli caretaker coach, Francesco Calzona, has provided a positive update on Victor Osimhen ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League clash with Barcelona.

Osimhen was left out of Napoli’s squad for last Saturday’s Serie A clash against Genoa.

The Nigeria international was not deemed fit enough to partake in the game after returning from Africa Cup of Nations with a minor muscular problem and fatigued.

Calzona, who was named as replacement for Walter Mazzarri on Tuesday revealed that the forward was involved in full training on Tuesday.

“Osimhen trained with the team, naturally it was not a long session, as we had many things to do, but he was working at full tempo,” Calzona told the media ahead of the game.

“All the players will be evaluated after tomorrow’s session.”

Napoli will host the first leg at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday.
