 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. GOV. SANWO-OLU ANNOUNCED THE PASSING OF HIS EX SSA ON WORKS AND INFRASTRUCTURE, ABDULRAHEEM. (PHOTO). #ANNOUNCEMENT.

 I am deeply saddened by the passing of my former Senior Special Assistant on Works and Infrastructure, Abdulraheem Owokoniran. 


Abdulraheem was a young Nigerian politician with visionary ideas for nation building and development. He was a staunch party loyalist and a champion of programs aimed at benefiting the masses. 


My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and colleagues, including my Special Adviser on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe who is a brother to the deceased. 


Abdulraheem’s dedication to our party and his contributions to the growth of Lagos State will be dearly missed. May his soul rest in peace, and may his loved ones find the strength to cope with this loss.- Gov. Sanwo-Olu.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
