 ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT WARNS AGAINST VANDALISM OF PUBLIC PROPERTY  By Kennedy Aniedozie  The Anambra State Government has strongly condemned the increasing vandalism of public infrastructure by individuals posing as scrap metal dealers, popularly known as "iron condemn" operators. The Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Clem Aguiyi, said the criminal activities of cutting down electricity poles, stealing power cables and damaging other government installations are unacceptable and will no longer be tolerated. Dr. Aguiyi announced that the state government has deployed a Special Task Force on Vandalization to identify, arrest and prosecute anyone involved in the destruction of public property. He called on residents of the state to support government efforts by remaining vigilant and reporting any suspicious activity to security agencies or the Special Task Force on Vandalization through 0806 163 4611. Grammy-winning singer, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has explained why he doesn’t do giveaways online like his colleagues.

In an Instagram live session with fans, he stated that contrary to people’s perception, he does lots of charity work.

According to him, he does his giveaways mostly offline because he believes the people who are in dire need of help are not on social media.

He made it known that he does giveaways to places that really matter, to people that really need it and most of them are not on the internet.

“I do giveaway to places that really matter, to people that really need it & most of them are not on the internet,” he said.
