 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Interior Minister Hosts Davido


Renowned afrobeat sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on Thursday in Abuja.


Tunji-Ojo shared pictures from the visit on his X handle on Friday.


In the caption accompanying the photos, the minister expressed delight at hosting the musician.


He wrote, "I welcomed renowned afrobeat artiste David Adeleke, widely recognised as #davido, yesterday.


"Davido, through his music, has continued to exemplify Nigeria's cultural richness and talent on the global stage, and we are proud of him."
