 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Messi has to retire for someone else to be regarded as best – Haaland


Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has insisted that Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi need to retire from the game for someone else to be regarded as the best.


Haaland spoke to the media on Tuesday ahead of Manchester City’s Champions League round of 16 second leg tie with FC Copenhagen on Wednesday.


“Maybe he [Messi] has to retire for someone else to be regarded as the best,” Haaland said (via Barca Universal).


Messi is widely considered as the greatest footballer on the planet.


The Argentina captain beat Haaland and Kylian Mbappe to win the 2023 Balloon d’Or.


The former Barcelona forward is also a World Cup winner.
