 Sudan’s Burhan visits Egypt for talks on ongoing war with paramilitary RSF Leaders of Sudan and Egypt discussed on Thursday ways to strengthen bilateral relations and the latest Sudanese developments amid ongoing fighting with the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Head of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, arrived in Cairo for a one-day visit, and was welcomed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi upon arrival. An Egyptian presidency statement said the two leaders discussed the latest situation in Sudan and regional and international efforts to restore peace and stability in the country. Sisi affirmed Egypt’s support for the Sudanese people and its firm position on Sudan's unity, sovereignty, security, and stability. Aircraft Belonging To Dana Air Crash-Lands In Lagos


There was pandemonium on Tuesday morning as Dana Air overshot the runway on landing at the local wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. It was gathered that the plane on landing at the Lagos Airport RW18L, skidded off the runway probably due to poor braking action and flooded runway. Passengers who came out of the aircraft were heard thanking God for saving their lives.


A Dana Air plane with registration number, 5N BKI on Tuesday crash-landed in Lagos.

The aircraft took off from Abuja en route to Lagos. The airline confirmed the development in a statement released by the Head of Corporate Communications, Mr Kingsley Ezenwa.


All passengers and crew were safely evacuated from the plane. Details of the accident is yet to be ascertained by the Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau. Details were still sketchy at the time of filing this report. The aircraft was coming from Abuja to Lagos.
