 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker.  Funke Akindele mourns Aderounmu Adejumoke


Nollywood actress and movie producer Funke Ankidele took to Instagram to mourn the loss of Aderounmu Adejumoke, who reportedly passed on the 6th of April, 2024. She made a brief repost from someone’s page, where the details of Adejumoke’s burial was posted. In addition, Funke Akindele wrote, “Sad!!! Rest well Jumoke”.


Funke Akindele’s post clearly didn’t sit well with Aderounmu Adejumoke’s brother, as he called her out for being pretentious and showing fake love, as earlier reported by Kemi Filani.


There has been no response so far from Funke Akindele regarding the allegations leveraged against her


Aderounmu Adejumoke and Funke Akindele worked together on the series Jennifer’s Diary, and she appeared in a lot of episodes.


The cause of Aderounmu Adejumoke’s death remains largely unknown, and the family hasn’t come out to explain her cause of death. It seems the family intends to keep everything private, as there was no official announcement on her page.
