 STAEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   PRESIDENT TINUBU: WE WILL CONTINUE TO SUSTAIN BUHARI'S LEGACIES.   President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Monday in Abuja, stated that his administration will continue to honour former President Muhammadu Buhari by sustaining his legacies of purposeful leadership, discipline, integrity, and the belief that public office is a trust, not a windfall.   President Tinubu made this commitment at the State House Conference Centre during the unveiling and public presentation of the book, *From Soldier to Statesman – The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari*, authored by Dr Charles Omole.   He said the book offers Nigerians the opportunity to learn from President Buhari, and affirmed that the greatest honour to bestow on the late President is to sustain his legacies.   "This book reinforces the public memory.  NIGERIAN ARMY TROOPS DESTROY NOTORIOUS TERRORIST'S KINGPIN's DEN IN ZAMFARA, NEUTRALIZE TERRORIST



Nigerian Army troops deployed  for Counter Terrorism Counter Insurgency operations have raided the den of a notorious terrorist kingpin known as Yellow Janbros at Dangunu Village in Maru Local Government Area  of Zamfara State, resulting in the elimination of a terrorist and recovery of fire arm. 


During the operation on 8 April 2024, troops successfully attacked the den of the notorious terrorists  responsible for kidnappings and other acts of terrorism in parts of North West Nigeria. The troops overpowered and dislodged the terrorists and neutralized one of them. The gallant troops also recovered one AK- 47 Rifle, One AK-47 Magazine, 30 rounds of 7.62 mm Special and one hundred and fifty bags of stolen grains . The terrorists' enclave have been completely destroyed.


The Nigerian Army remains committed mitigating security challenges and will leave no stone unturned to rid the nation of terrorists and insurgents.
