Addressing journalists after the assembly's  adhoc meeting, former vice president of NLC who is  the veteran labour leader, Comrade Isah Tijani accused Joe Ajaero of negligence of fundamentals of the office of NLC president which is overseeing affairs of workers as related with their condition of service with their employees as well as their welfare and instead have been getting involved in trivial issues and political matters.

Comrade Tijani said NLC president Ajaero has abandoned Nigerian workers to their fate in the face of socioeconomic hardship in the country and pursuing self agendas.

The assembly of veteran labour leaders also condemned activities going on at the labour party where the estranged national chairman Julius Abure is doing what they term as unconstitutional.
