 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Police Arrest Two Traffic Robbers Disarming Motorists with Medical Condition


Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested two traffic robbery suspects in Ikeja.

The suspects, Azeez Folarin, ‘m’ aged 23 and Azeez Rilwan ‘m’ aged 27, were arrested at about 7am in front of Ikeja City Mall.


Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects have robbed many motorists of their phones around Ketu and Ojota and had been operating individually in Ketu, before coming together to exploit Rilwan’s chronic pile to rob unsuspecting motorists.


The suspects were arrested by the RRS team stationed at the mall immediately after Folarin snatched the mobile phone of a motorist who was trying to give alms to Rilwan having seen his medical condition. 


While Rilwan was released on bail due to his serious state of health, Folarin has been arraigned.
